Supply Planner

Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote with 1 week onsite training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Terms: Virtual interview; candidates must be local to Charlotte

If selected, a background check and drug screen will be included in onboarding process.

Position Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for balancing supply and demand to ensure product availability while controlling inventory and supporting operational efficiency. This role partners closely with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to develop and maintain supply plans that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain supply plans to support forecasted demand and service-level targets.
Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent shortages or overstock.
Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to align supply with business needs.
Analyze supply constraints, lead times, and capacity issues; propose mitigation strategies.
Track and report key metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, and forecast adherence.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and process efficiency.
Communicate risks, constraints, and planning assumptions to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
Open to recent graduates with professional experience and familiarity with inventory or supply planning concepts.
2–4 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, or a similar supply chain role (preferred but not required).
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Strong analytical ability with skills in interpreting data and making sound recommendations.
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or in progress).
Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
