Job descriptionWelcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments Teach good oral hygiene techniques Create dental impressions Take x-rays Assist dentist during procedures and exams Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Associates Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelors or Masters degree preferred Current Dental Hygienist licensure Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Summary
Taylor Family Dentistry is searching for a full-time or part-time State licensed Registered Dental Hygienist who wants to join a unified, compassionate, hard working, and fun loving office team. This is a solo owner / operator practice. We offer competitive pay based upon experience, paid holidays, paid vacation, 401K match up to 3%, discounted / free dental work for you and your immediate family and an amazing amount of happiness. Hours are negotiable; however, it would be ideal if the applicant is available at the least Tuesdays and Thursdays. We can accommodate anyone who is friendly, outgoing and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience. We welcome and can accommodate anyone who would like to work full-time (it would make a lot of patients on the ASAP list happy as well). If you feel we can be your match, we want to hear from you!
