Work Schedule

Shift Type : Days

Schedule Features : Rotating weekend call; 1 : 4-5 weekday and weekend call rotation with in-house night coverage

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical and perioperative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients with a patient-first approach

Assist in cardiac surgeries, including endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting as needed

Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patients through rounding, evaluation, and follow-up care

Participate in weekly clinics and see additional patients as necessary

Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; develop and implement detailed care plans

Write prescriptions and order medications in accordance with medical staff privileging

Perform bedside procedures appropriate to patient needs

Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation of all patient care

Function independently with expert clinical judgment under physician supervision

Maintain continuing education and certification requirements

Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment with flexibility and teamwork

Competitive salary range $100,588 $143,769 annually, commensurate with experience
