Professional Water / Wastewater Engineer

CME Associates is seeking a highly motivated Water / Wastewater Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Parlin, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

• Project Design and Development : Prepare designs, technical specifications, and construction drawings for water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities.
• Hydraulic Modeling and Analysis : Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to optimize system performance and capacity.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
• Assist municipalities and utilities with meeting NJDEP compliance requirements related to drinking water and wastewater regulations, including permitting, reporting, and infrastructure planning.
• Construction Support : Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.
• Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, surveyors, and environmental scientists, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships by serving as a point of contact, understanding client goals and ensuring satisfaction throughout projects.
