Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Asheville, NC 28801 – Experience North Carolina nursing jobs in a city known for its historic architecture, outdoor adventures, and welcoming community.

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Shift : 12-hour days (06 : 45 – 19 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Unit : Labor & Delivery (16 beds, 4th Floor, G Tower)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

High-risk L&D and immediate newborn care skills

Required Certifications : NRP, BLS / ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Experience with Cerner EMR and electronic fetal monitoring preferred

Strong communication, adaptability, and team collaboration skills

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity clinical setting

Monitor maternal and fetal health using advanced electronic fetal monitoring equipment

Assist with and circulate for vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst procedures

Provide immediate newborn care and family support

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and physicians

Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
