Our client is a property management firm. They seek a temp to perm Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process utility bill payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness before month-end deadlines
• Record and post payments promptly to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel daily to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for tracking accounts and payments
• Monitor multiple accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper account status
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
• Coordinate with vendors to address and resolve outstanding issues
• Open, review, and sort incoming mail daily to support smooth office operations
