American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient role with inpatient and ARU weekend coverage, requiring 2 years of experience and a valid CA OT license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work primarily in an outpatient therapy setting with coverage responsibilities for inpatient and ARU on weekendsDay shift, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMRequires travel between locations in Brookings and CaliforniaTreats diverse patient populations, including those with disabilities and developmental delaysEpic EMR experience preferredDevelops and implements occupational therapy plans to assist patients in regaining independence and daily living skillsProvides effective clinical supervision to assistants, aides, and serves as clinical instructor for studentsCompletes patient evaluations, documentation, and charge capture per organizational standardsMaintains compliance with state and federal privacy and safety regulationsMaintains a clean and safe work environment and participates in quality improvement processesModules required during orientation and completed via e-learningOnly one holiday will be approved as RTO during assignmentReturn staff must have been gone for at least one year to be eligible50 mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at a lower rate\n \n Requirements\n
Current and valid CA Occupational Therapist license requiredMinimum 2 years of relevant Occupational Therapy experienceCurrent BLS certification from AHA requiredGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy programMust provide copy of all certifications for considerationMust be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signingEpic EMR experience preferredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
