Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,300 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Valid State License required Certifications : BCLS, NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have : Telemetry and reading rhythms experience Experience with cardiac medications and drips (no titration) No artificial or nail enhancements No crocs with holes Blue uniform required Must work weekends and holidays Description : This position involves providing nursing care in a telemetry unit. You will be responsible for monitoring patients and interpreting dysrhythmias. Experience with blood product administration and central line care / management is necessary. Chest tube management and post-cardiac care are part of the duties. You must effectively manage cardiac drips without titration. Oxygen administration and nasal cannula care are required skills. You will perform patient assessments and develop nursing care plans. Continuous monitoring of telemetry patients will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care. You may float within the hospital to meet facility needs.
