Job descriptionOversee mechanical design delivery for complex building projects. Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. Provide senior-level technical guidance and resolve complex engineering challenges. Review and approve mechanical design packages, calculations, and specifications. Lead cost analysis , budgeting , and financial forecasting for mechanical engineering projects. Manage departmental performance, resource allocation, and workload planning. Support the development of proposals, fee structures, and scope documentation. Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the Tampa office and wider business. Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and potential client partnerships. Support business development efforts and strengthen key client relationships. Provide leadership and technical oversight in the following markets : Healthcare Commercial Government Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required. 10+ years of mechanical design experience in building services. Proven leadership experience within an MEP consultancy. Strong understanding of codes, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication, team leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

This role oversees project delivery, drives technical excellence, supports strategic growth, and ensures high-quality engineering solutions across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Commercial, Government, and Education .
