What you'll do :
The Payroll / Benefits Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll, and the management of employee benefits programs
Review, approve, and post weekly time sheets in third party and internal job cost systemsProcess and verify weekly payroll in third party payroll systemConfirm, monitor and process special deductions and adjustmentsReview employee payments for taxable / non-taxable items and process accordinglyCalculate and prepare final paychecks when requiredMaintain employee payroll files & prepare certified payroll reportsPrepare and process weekly, periodic, and annual journal entries and reportsWork with parent company CSUSA to oversee all health care programs including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, COBRA and associated programsEscalate & resolve benefit issues with CSUSAManage annual benefits open enrollmentNew employee benefit enrollments and orientationManage disability and PFML claimsWho you are :
You have a strong work ethic, take pride in your workmanship, collaborate well with others, and have a continuous desire to learn2+ years of experience in Payroll Administration as well as 2+ years of benefits administrationStrong financial systems experience and experience working with 3rd party payroll processorsIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and WordKnowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principlesKnowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibilityStrong customer service, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in fast-paced environment, to be analytical, and multi-taskHighly organized and detail orientedSalary Range : $75K - $85K
