Chicago, IL - Community Pathologist

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $350000.00 - $450000.00

Join a thriving pathology practice within a major not-for-profit academic healthcare system. The incoming Pathologist will have a balanced mix of anatomic and clinical cases, with opportunities for specialization. Collaborate with three experienced pathologists and skilled support staff in a well-established shared practice environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Enjoy a dynamic mix of anatomic and clinical pathology, including surgical pathology, cytopathology, and frozen sections.
• Balanced caseload with an average of 20-25 cases per day.
• Level loading all cases within a group productivity model.
• Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with multiple specialties across the network.
• Flexible schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 45 AM4 : 30 PM, with light call expectations (1 week per month, minimal come-in rate).
• Support for sub-specialization in breast pathology, if desired.
• Work with state-of-the-art technology, including digital pathology implementation in progress.
• No autopsy caseshandled at a separate downtown location.
