Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Many of the patients are chronically ill and require multidiscipline treatment plans and goals. As part of the health care team, you will help educate patients on a wide variety of topics ranging from procedural / surgical expectations to what medications patients will be taking once discharged. Qualifications : Required Education : Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school License : current LPN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days Certifications : Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, IV Certification within 1 year.
