Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted

Description :

Two years of experience is required.

Experience with heart and lung transplants is mandatory.

Level 2 experience is required, while Level 1 experience is preferred.

Candidates must have experience with trauma cases.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

A skills checklist must be submitted.

Local travelers residing within 75 miles are not eligible for this position.

Candidates should possess a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential.

The unit supports patients of various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics.

Daily patient census ranges from 75 to 100.

Floating to other units or affiliate hospitals may be required.

Call coverage requires one weekday per week and one full weekend per four weeks.

Candidates are expected to follow safety protocols and demonstrate competency in surgical techniques.

References from charge nurses or supervisors are required at the time of application.

Previous experience in level 1 trauma settings is preferred.

Compliance with BLS and surgical technician competency examinations is necessary.

Experience in robotic and advanced surgical techniques is an asset.
