Brand Overview At Garden of Light Inc DBA Uncle Crumbles, we strive to amaze and inspire, one bite at a time! Garden of Light started in a small bakery of a natural foods market on Main Street in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Founder listened to his Celiac customers complain about the taste of many of the gluten free options available to them. He thought that no one should have to suffer because of a food allergy or other special dietary needs and made it his mission to create products that would make our customers happy.

Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership

Responsible for supporting the product development team for Uncle Crumbles, under the direction of the Product Development Associate.

Core Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with the product development team to reproduce samples and prototypes.
• Assist in receipt, production, packaging and shipping sample orders and requests.
• Maintain / organize development retains and recipe documentation.
• Understand allergen control.
• Maintain an organized and clean lab area.
• Assist and participate in sensory evaluations.
• Culinary abilities including, but not limited to, baking, stove top prep, and formula balancing.
• Ensure that Uncle Crumbles GMP and HACCP plan are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.
