Job descriptionStaff Accountant will reconcile the main bank's bank accounts, including the Federal Reserve account and pre-paid expense accounts Staff Accountant will be responsible for journal entries Staff Accountant will assist with some payroll input - on a monthly basis, entering the commissions into the accounts utilizing Paylocity Staff Accountant will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested 2+ years of general accounting experience required for Staff Accountant role Clean background check required for Staff Accountant role Previous banking experience is a plus but NOT required Should understand uploading files, what month to post it to and which GL's Prologue, a Fiserv system, is the GL system - our client will train on this system (previous experience NOT required) Degree is a plus but NOT required Basic Excel skills - Sorting, matching, basic formulas, etc. Hard working Focused and stays on task to make sure things are clearing Quick learner Team player Can work independently but able to collaborate with others too - will interact with employees of all levels if they have questions on invoices Clear written and verbal communication skills Proactively asks questions or brings issues that arise to Chief Accounting Officer
