Superintendent – Commercial Construction

We're partnering with a well-respected commercial general contractor in the Hartford area that's looking to bring on an experienced Superintendent to lead upcoming commercial projects. What You'll Do

Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish

Lead daily coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and the project management team

Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track and within budget

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all jobsite regulations

Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues

Foster a team-oriented environment that delivers results and builds lasting relationships

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (ground-up and / or interior fit-out)

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Strong leadership and communication skills — able to motivate and manage field teams

Deep understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and jobsite logistics

OSHA certification and familiarity with Procore or similar project management software a plus
