Internal Medicine Physician

Hospital is looking for 1 MD with Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine with preference of Geriatric experience, however not required. Starting late January / early February for 3-6 months.

Hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday

Description of Work Assignment : Provide quality care to patients in a nursing home setting

Breakdown of Clinic Days / Sessions and / or OR Days : M-F

Schedule of Days / Times Needed To Work / Shift Hours : M-F 8-5 preferred or could consider M-TH 8-5

On call? If so, what are the call hours? Physician yes however negotiable

Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform : Admissions, discharges, acute evaluations, 30 days evaluations

Procedures Preferred : NONE

Anticipated Procedures / Surgeries per Week : NONE

Patient Load : 8-12 patients per day

Does the Provider Have Particular Fellowship? Geriatrics

Will You Accept Experience Over Fellowship? Yes

Board Status Requirement (BC / BE) : Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine or Geriatrics

Certifications Required? BLS, ACLS, PALS BLS

Is There Additional Surgical Staff? NA

Is there additional support staff? Yes

Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? APP s and MDs

Are there mid levels? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for mid levels? Yes, no the locums would not be responsible however and APP may need to consult with them
