Armed Security Officer- Anniston, AL

Armed Security Officers will provide a variety of security services for the Center for Domestic Preparedness contract.

Responsibilities include :

• Following all assigned post orders, both general and specific
• Maintaining compliance with the policies and procedures and overall operations listed in the SOW
• Controlling access to the facility, including unrestricted areas
• Enforcing systems of personnel identification
• Inspecting packages / vehicles
• Performing both static and roving patrol
• Identifying, correcting, and securing any point of security violation and initiating necessary reports
• Identifying, detaining, and reporting any persons suspected of violation or unauthorized access attempt to CDP facilities until appropriate law enforcement arrives
• Performing traffic control as needed
• Receiving, issuing, and accounting for keys, locks and access control passes
• Monitoring facility protection devices and alarms such as fire, chemical agent, and intrusion detection systems
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
• Completing monthly required training
• Passing semi-annual weapons qualification standards
• Performing other duties as assigned

Pay Rate : $18.32 - $18.32 USD
