Civil Engineer (PE preferred)

IDEAL for a CIVIL ENGINEER or Sr. CIVIL ENGINEER who desires to work in a manufacturing setting, or perhaps has greenfield experience but doesn't wish to travel more than approximately 5-15%.

Infrastructure projects include : utilities, plant, buildings, manufacturing floor, grounds expansion, facilities, and roads.

Responsible installation and equipment modifications throughout our facility. This position is responsible for the engineering and modifications to physical plant, utilities and our grounds.

Overall responsibility for complete management of civil and structural engineering in accordance with established budgets and specification requirements from development to overall completion. Meets with contractors frequently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Equipment reliability
• Conducts feasibility studies for projects, as necessary.
• Writes bid specifications forerection and installation, equipment, engineering, concrete pours
• Solicits, evaluates and negotiates contracts for bids.
• Estimates, schedules and assures projects come in on budget and on time.
• Provides maintenance and production engineering support to interfacing departments.
• Design
• Interfaces with contractors, equipment suppliers and regulatory agencies on a regular basis.
