Job descriptionGreet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are shopping Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions Maintain a clean and organized register area Restock shelves and monitor inventory Check IDs to comply with age-restricted sales laws Assist with opening and closing duties Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude Collect payments by cash and credit card Issue receipts and refunds to customers Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service Willingness to work well in a team environment Ability to quickly and accurately work a register Willingness to work a flexible schedule Must be 18+ years old Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs Dependable, responsible, and punctual Weekly pay Friendly and supportive team Opportunity to grow with the company Flexible scheduling
