The Ghost Host must have a good sense of fun and a desire to entertain while sharing stories of Savannahs haunted past. The person in this position must make our guests feel welcomed and glad they have chosen our company to entertain them.

Eligibility requirements may applyRequirements : Essential Functions
Present historically accurate information in an entertaining manner in costume on a moving trolley on busy streets and outdoors in various weather conditions several times a work shift in a loud audible voice with or without amplification to be heard from everywhere in the trolley.Portray costumes historical characters either based upon real persons or composites of real persons to entertain and narrate local history from an approved script.Study and rehearse roles from scripts to learn and memorize lines and cues as directed.Ability to fill multiple acting roles withing the tour and switch positions with ease when required during a work shift.Use props as directed and remain on show schedule when performing.Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to learn and memorize scripted materials and historical detailsAbility to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guestsAbility to handle stressful situations and difficult people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanorAbility to read write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees and the general publicAbility to work flexible shifts including days evenings weekends and holidaysMust be able to work outsideQualifications
High school graduate or equivalent preferredStrong interest in history is desirablePrior performance or interpretation experience preferredOther Requirements
