Software Test Automation Engineer Python (Fort Worth, TX)

We are seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will be performing software qualification testing using Python-based test scripts to validate safety-critical systems.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4-day 10-hour shifts per week), and this is an on-site role in Fort Worth, TX.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Review functional requirements and determine "Happy Path" and "Corner Case" scenarios to fully exercise the requirement.
• Responsible for creating software test scripts in Python or SWAT to conduct safety critical qualification testing.
• Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in the labs
• Create Software Test Reports and host reviews with internal and external customers.
• Work with the development team to diagnose and update scripts for software defects.
• Contribute to test automation efforts by automating existing manual test cases
• Create / update automation pipelines
• Create / update Confluence Dashboards from GitLab data
• Expected to have good oral and written communication skills.
• Expected to flex and adapt schedule during formal test based on test station availability.
