Job description

Position : Interventional Rad Tech

Location : Bronx, NY

Pay Rate : $60 / HR

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM

Duties :

  • An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Requirements :

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.
  • A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH
  • Possession of a current advanced-level certification from ARRT is required.
  • Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following : (only one (1) certification below is required) ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
