What You Will Do

Ensure materials are readily available at workstations to prevent production delays.

Identify and remove waste from the production process contributing to efficiency.

Manage the timely flow of information including Kanban cards and status boards to ensure proper material supply and production flow.

Replenish tools and equipment and potentially assist with changeovers.

Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.

Accurately read and follow procedures routing and other work instructions.

Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.

Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.

Comply with applicable elements of quality systems.

Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans / events as required.

Participate in audits.

Acquire applicable skill / knowledge / certifications as required.

Maintain materials equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition.

Comply with all rules and regulations of RTX including but not limited to : Environmental Health and Safety Ethics International Trade Compliance and Human Resources.

Examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.

Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with one year of relevant experience
