Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include : Minimum Work Experience 1 year or more experience in an acute care setting preferred. Required Certifications / Skills Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 30 days after hire date. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills : Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Department / Unit Summary Therapy staff is present on the unit to assist with ADLs.
