Job Details – Colorado ICU Nursing Jobs

Healthcare Setting : CVICU & Critical Care (CCU)

Location : Glenwood Springs, CO 81601

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), weekend rotation included

Contract Duration : 13-week nursing contract (Start : 11 / 13 / 2025 – End : 2 / 12 / 2026)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

On-Call Requirement : Participate in call rotation; 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,260 - $2,430, depending on experience and qualifications.

ICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience in Critical Care (CVICU required)

Active Colorado Registered Nurse license in good standing

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

PALS certification preferred

Current flu vaccination (mandatory, no declinations)

Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from Glenwood Springs, CO

Required for submission : Resume, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, Skills Sheet (including CVICU skills), Nursys RN License, proof of current flu vaccine

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in CVICU and CCU units

Support clinical operations in two Cath Labs, including a Hybrid Cath Lab

Participate in call rotation and cover shifts to meet staffing needs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold hospital standards of care

Support the hospital’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare to the local Colorado community
