Job Description :
The Parts Sales Manager oversees all aspects of parts sales for regional team, ensuring that established revenue and profit goals are met in accordance with the objectives, policies, and controls of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Adhere to yearly fiscal order budget targets and 3-year EVA targets that align to the overall revenue and profitability goals of the business.
- Work collaboratively with the sales representatives to establish quarterly and yearly fiscal performance order and margin goals.
- Implement a formal sales process that identifies opportunities, qualifies them, and manages them to order closure.
- Lead monthly sales forecasting process.
- Develop strategies to increase penetration with existing customers.
- Overlooks and is accountable for integrity of data in the customer relationship management (CRM) database for the region.
- Work with sales representatives, technical support, and operations to develop order closing strategies in pursuit of specific order opportunities.
- Implement sales effectiveness metrics to track performance of sales representatives and use as a coaching tool to improve performance.
- Create a sales representative development process that encourages team members to discover, develop and apply their talents to enable them to reach their full potential
- Provide a weekly sales forecast update focused on near term opportunities (
- Forecast fiscal year monthly sales forecast and expected future monthly selling expenses.
- Assist in developing short and long-range marketing strategies including the promotion of parts value proposition, spares lists and audit opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with sales representatives and operation's leadership to clearly define scope of work and commitments required on behalf of the company for specific orders.
- Continuously bring forth the voice of the customer to help guide operations activities to support selling activities.
- Perform all personnel related actions including hiring, performance, and disciplinary. Provide detailed performance feedback to team members.
- When necessary, assist to resolve customer disputes regarding part performance and commercial issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a consistent, effective, and coordinated approach in servicing key accounts.
- Ensure that standard work processes are maintained including the timely submission / approval of expense reports and weekly time approval of sales executives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years' experience in sales or sales support, or a two-year post high school diploma / certificate and at least 10 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated leadership experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :
