Receiving & Stores Operation Manager
Plans, organizes and directs Receiving & Stores operation which includes receiving and storing items or supplies, inventory management, distribution of supplies and performing all functions necessary to provide items or supplies to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Directs the activities of Receiving & Stores clerks and verifies that they are adequately and efficiently performing all duties.
- Inspects incoming goods and determines whether they should be stored or delivered to a specific department. Signs receipts for goods received. Verifies contents with delivery sheet documents and enters receiving data in the Computer System.
- Maintains a record of all goods received and issued. Ensures that the type and quantity of goods received is verified and documented.
- Assists in taking inventory and maintaining stock levels. Fills stationery requisitions form various departments.
- Facilitates for the shipment of goods to be returned or repaired. Ensures that goods are properly wrapped, packed and labeled.
- Maintains a good professional rapport and communication with all the hospital's staff.
- Enforces departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity with an Associate Degree. -Five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity with a High School Diploma.
