About the Company
A fast-growing custom metal fabrication shop in St. Joseph is looking for a skilled Estimator to join their team. With a reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and innovative problem-solving, this company delivers custom-engineered solutions across multiple industries.
What You’ll Do
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and job specs to build accurate cost estimates
Calculate labor, material, and production times for unique fabrication projects
Work closely with engineers, sales, and production teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Communicate directly with customers to clarify scope and expectations
Prepare clear, professional quotes that set the stage for project success
What You Bring
- ️ 2+ years of estimating experience in metal fabrication or job shop environments
- ️ Solid understanding of fabrication processes (welding, machining, cutting, etc.)
- ️ Strong blueprint and technical drawing skills
- ️ ERP / manufacturing software experience is a plus
- ️ Detail-oriented mindset with strong math, communication, and organizational skills
