Compensation : Commensurate with experience.

Hours Per Week : 36-40

We are seeking an Sonographer to :

  • perform diagnostic and therapeutic sonographic procedures, while providing hands-on, caring, and compassionate patient care.
  • Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts, early OB and routine vascular examinations.
  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.

    Required Qualifications :

  • Associates degree or completion of a Sonography certification program
  • Minimum 2 years of direct patient / health care experience (accredited program may count as experience)
  • Registered by RDMS in Physics and one of the following upon initial hire date : Abdomen or, OB / GYN or RVT
  • Registered or Registry-eligible for any certification not held at the time of initial hire as follows :
  • Must have registries in each of the following within 1 year of hiring date :

  • Abdomen or OB / GYN
  • In-depth knowledge of adult, pediatric, neonatal and fetal physiology, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy
  • Experience and ability to recognize normal and abnormal findings
  • Demonstration of clear and concise verbal and communication skills
  • Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associates or Bachelor degree from an accredited ultrasound program
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with varying ultrasound equipment systems and procedures
  • Experience and training in neonatal environment
