GISB Music Program
beginning in
Fall 2025 . We are looking for passionate educators who love working with children and can teach private lessons
and / or
lead group classes and ensembles. Ideal candidates will be experienced in working with learners (starting from age 4-18) and available on
1-2 days
either
during the school day
or for private instruction,
after school between 2 : 10–6 : 00 PM
before school between 7 : 30–8 : 30 AM . Current Openings
We are actively hiring for the following positions in our in-school small group program : In-school Violin Instructor (8 hours / week) In-school Cello Instructor (8 hours / week) In-school Trumpet Instructor (4 hours / week) Private Lesson Instructors (part-time) : Guitar Trumpet Saxophone Violin Cello Percussion Clarinet Faculty may teach : Private lessons Small group lessons Ensembles Departmental “Musical Monday” ensembles (2 : 10–3 : 30 PM), depending on student enrollment and departmental needs

and to take part in school-wide concerts and musical events. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Teach private instrumental lessons to students ages 4 and up Instruct group ensembles, including participation in “Musical Mondays” Plan and participate in performances and community events Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines Contribute to the growth of the GISB Music Program Qualifications Master’s degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience Documented success teaching young students in a private or group setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff Experience with Suzuki or other early childhood methodologies is a plus COMPENSATION :
private instrumental instructors , GISB provides space to teach and shares your contact information with the school community. Instructors
set their own rates and terms
and handle their own billing and scheduling. For
faculty teaching in the in-school small group program , compensation is
60–$70 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
