ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Restrain animals for neurological examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor : Appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
• Perform laboratory procedures.
• Assist in performing diagnostic studies, including radiography, CT, and MRI.
• Basic inventory and stocking duties.
• Basic surgical duties : Prepare the surgical suite and anesthesia equipment; pull instruments & open room; scrub & assist in surgery as needed; break down & clean room; clean, wrap and sterilize packs.
• Take the patient's vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
• Consistent, on-time arrival at work each day you are scheduled to work.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a changing environment.
