Pharmacy Technician - Clear Lake Campus (up to 19 hrs / wk)

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
• OR
• Registered as a Pharmacist Intern with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

ACPE sterile product / IV certification preferred

Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) preferred

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Effective communication skills

Demonstrates ability to prioritize and solve problems

Able to spend most of the day standing, walking, or bending.   Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, pull, reach, push up to 50 lbs. , and regularly and occasionally lift 0-30 lbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Pharmacy Technologist assists Pharmacists in providing drug distribution, technical services, and clinical services associated with the preparation, storage and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.

Up to 19.99 hours per week with no benefits, variable schedule. Must be willing to work all shifts.
