• Description : Pediatrix is seeking a full-time Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director for their hospitalist practice at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister California offering an exceptional opportunity to provide newborn care emergency consults and pediatric admissions in a beautiful semi-rural community just minutes from Monterey Bay. Job Description : Serve as Medical Director for the pediatric hospitalist practice at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital Provide coverage for high-risk deliveries Conduct emergency room consults involving pediatric patients Manage pediatric admissions of low acuity cases Provide well newborn care at the hospital Collaborate with affiliated Level-III NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose for newborns requiring intensive NICU care transport coordination Work a full-time schedule consisting of twelve 24-hour shifts per month with on-call responsibilities from home Support a hospital with approximately 500 deliveries annually Engage in a collaborative environment with commuters welcome to apply This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
