Geotechnical Staff Engineer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory services.
• Provide project-level development of reports and proposals.
• Field and laboratory sampling and testing.
• Oversight and testing on geotechnical projects during design and construction and respond to customers’ inquiries concerning testing progress and reporting.
• Implement and oversee department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
• Follow-up laboratory tests of various construction materials including soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, etc.
• Analyze test data and conduct corrective action to prevent non-conforming products.
• Ensure tests are carried out in accordance with relevant standard test methods and according to agreed customers’ requirements.
• Conduct analysis as required after receiving tests results from technicians and ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure all site equipment and instruments are fit for use by provision of necessary resources for the implementation of calibration and maintenance programs.
• Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
