ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Milton, Florida.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PACU

Job Details :

  • Work Monday through Friday shifts, typically 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM with variable shift times based on surgical volume
  • May flex earlier or later depending on surgical case load
  • Take one day of call and one late shift (until surgeries are completed)
  • Weekend call rotation starting 7 : 00 AM Saturday morning through 7 : 00 AM Monday morning (approximately every 4th weekend)
  • Call response time must be 30 minutes dressed and ready to receive patients
  • 8-week assignment duration
  • 3-5 years experience in critical care based / Main OR type PACU required (outpatient PACU experience not sufficient)
  • Active Florida or multistate nursing license required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • ASPAN certification preferred
  • Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
  • Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care
  • Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel

The facility emphasizes high-quality patient care and maintains rigorous standards for nursing practice, working closely with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during the critical post-operative period.

    Location : Milton, FL

    Milton offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere in the Florida Panhandle with beautiful natural surroundings and proximity to pristine beaches along the Gulf Coast. The area provides excellent outdoor recreation opportunities and a lower cost of living while maintaining access to larger metropolitan areas nearby.
