Job description
A company is looking for a Freelance Linguist - LEGAL Translator, Editor, Transcriber and / or Interpreter (U.S. Citizen).
Key Responsibilities
Perform legal translation services for a United States Government client
Utilize legal and technical terminology in both English and the source language
Complete assignments on-demand during standard business hours (9-5 EST)
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal language services for governmental clients
Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or a related field
Experience with CAT tools, preferably Trados
Advanced proficiency in English and the target foreign language(s)
U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo security clearance processing
