Our financial services client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team and assist with tax and accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Manage accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Perform monthly and year-end closings
- Assist with tax projections and planning for high-net-worth individuals and real estate clients
- Support clients with day-to-day financial operations
- Collaborate closely with one manager on a dedicated book of business
- Use accounting and tax software including UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, QuickBooks, and others
- Maintain excellent client communication and support
- Participate in internal meetings, trainings, and firm-wide team-building activities
Qualifications :
2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, tax, or bothPrior experience in a public accounting, CPA, or business management firmBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExposure to high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) or real estate clients (preferred)Proficiency with UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, SurePrep, QuickBooks, AppFolio, Yardi, (strong plus)Preferred (Nice to Have) :
CPA or CPA candidate in progressExperience in a mid-sized firm (not Big 4 preferred, but all candidates considered)Ability to handle full-cycle accounting tasks and wear multiple hatsStrong initiative, eager to learn, and flexible in a team-oriented environmentSalary & Benefits :
