Pharmacist - Retail / Community

Experience success from day one as a\u00a0 Pharmacist \u00a0in\u00a0 Oak Creek, WI. We are looking for candidates willing to float to nearby stores and work to help fill gaps in scheduling. MORE ABOUT THE PHARMACIST POSITION :

Performs all duties in accordance with client guidelines and requirements.

Assists with any tasks, legitimately requested to meet the needs of the location and\u00a0patient / customer or to ensure an orderly operation. Some cross operational activity is\u00a0routinely expected.

Keeps current with medication information, health care concepts and all regulations\u00a0relative to the practice of long term care, institutional and retail pharmacy.

Interprets and clarifies new and refill order requests to ensure appropriateness and\u00a0maintain patient safety.

Prepares or causes to be prepared safe, neat, accurate, complete medication orders.

Provides and is responsible for final check on all prepared medication to ensure accuracy\u00a0and completeness.

Assures that all medication orders and supplies are delivered promptly and completely to\u00a0correct patients.

Provides support / suggestions when appropriate to provide safe and effective medication\u00a0therapy.

Prepares and completes all appropriate documentation including incident reports, controlled substances sheets, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHARMACIST :

Bachelor's and / or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university\u00a0

Experience with Pharmacy Data Entry Systems

Pharmacy licensure from state of employment is required
