About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Shift : 10-hour shift

Hours per Shift : 6 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Certification required within 6 months after eligibility

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Must-Have :

• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician training program accredited by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST)
• On-the-job training in a clinical healthcare setting or military specialty
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or current certification from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

Description :

This role involves performing the basic duties of a surgical technologist.

You will assist with positioning, surgical prepping, and draping of patients.

Responsibilities include setting up an operating room before surgery and ensuring all necessary equipment and instrumentation are available and in working condition.

Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Podiatry, and Urology for both adult and pediatric patients.

Position requires rotational scheduling and on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must have the ability to maintain current valid certifications throughout employment.
