Location : Rockport, Maine (04856) – Maine healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 8, 2026

Setting : 45-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit

Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

EMR : EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for Maine nursing jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications required

PALS certification preferred (not required for travel nurses)

Proficient IV skills and telemetry monitoring experience

Ability to float to other units as needed

Completion of required LMS modules

Strong patient-focused approach, organizational skills, and team collaboration

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients with medical, surgical, orthopedic, and urology needs

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms for patient safety

Administer medications and manage IVs according to clinical protocols

Accurately document patient care in EPIC electronic medical records

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Utilize clinical equipment including Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and Phillips Cardiac Monitor

Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code (solid color scrubs; no prints, hoodies, crocs, or open-toed shoes)
