Under the supervision of the Department Chair, adjunct faculty members are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with learning objectives. Adjunct faculty positions are temporary positions, based on need and availability in a geographical area. Pepperdine seeks individuals willing to contribute to the University and PGBS missions and to teach on various Pepperdine campuses, especially in Malibu and Calabasas. Skills and Qualifications
Required: Master’s degree in business or related field. College/university level teaching experience or working with adult learners. Familiarity with best practices for effective adult learning theory, content-specific pedagogy, and instructional practices. Technological aptitude and ability to acquire new skills quickly. Flexible schedule, availability during school hours, and ability to travel to specified site locations. Self-motivation, organization, openness to feedback, and aptitude in working independently. Professionalism and ability to work with faculty and students in a respectful manner. Skilled in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and online technology. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualified individuals should be able to show respect for workplace differences, and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.

This is an Adjunct, Exempt, 10-12 hour per week position with multiple openings. As this is a pooled position, applications will be reviewed on a rolling, as-needed basis.
Expected Pay Range: $2,227.50 - $2,500 per unit
