This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. This position is on-site & full-time

What You'll Do

As a highly skilled technician, this position will support capital equipment production and operations by assembling electromechanical subsystems, supporting manufacturing staff, performing equipment training, identifying constraints to production flow, and finding non-value-added activities to eliminate. This position will set up, run, and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes; monitor and check product quality and document results in strict adherence to SOPs, MPIs, WIs, and other protocols. In addition, this role will also troubleshoot equipment issues to a degree of complexity, involving engineering staff or supervisor when necessary. This role will improve the production operation by suggesting improvements to tooling, measurement, material management and procedures, minimizing downtime on the production lines.

  • Build electromechanical subassemblies, final assemblies, and packaging for finished products.
  • Review, input into, and update manufacturing procedures such as Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and lot history records (LHR's) or Device History record (DHR's) in collaboration with R&D and Quality to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Implement tooling and manufacturing aids to improve productivity of manufacturing personnel.
  • Identify bottlenecks on the line and help to optimize and improve product flow.
  • Perform time studies for each manufacturing process and identify process development initiatives.
  • Capture data from production or engineering activities on the line and summarize for analysis.
  • Review, input into, and update manufacturing procedures such as Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and lot history records (LHR's) or Device History record (DHR's) in collaboration with R&D and Quality to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs, MPIs), verify functionality of safety equipment and adhere to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and compliance.

What You'll Bring :

  • A minimum of 4 years related experience in the MedTech industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to electromechanical manufacturing, testing, and data collection.
  • Should possess strong math skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience in pilot / production line set up and validation in Controlled Environment
  • Experience with capital equipment assembly and testing
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems and troubleshooting
  • Ability to support early-stage development builds and process improvements
  • Strong documentation practices in a regulated environment

    Salary Range : $39.50-42.25 / hr
