Responsibilities :
Evaluation and Assessment : Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional status, strengths, and limitations, focusing on physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional aspects, to establish personalized treatment goals.Treatment Planning and Implementation : Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessments and patient preferences to enhance independence and quality of life using evidence-based interventions.Patient Education and Training : Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy processes and provide training in daily living activities, mobility skills, and the use of assistive devices.Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Teamwork : Work closely with healthcare professionals, including Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, physical and speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to create and execute comprehensive care plans.Progress Monitoring and Outcome Measurement : Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes, using standardized assessment tools and patient feedback.Qualifications :
Master's or Doctorate Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy program.Current license / certification in the state of practice.TMC is an equal opportunity employer.
