Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ambulatory care unit, including pre-operative, post-operative, and procedural care.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and medication reconciliation, to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with procedures as directed by healthcare providers in the ambulatory care setting.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient preferences and goals.

Educate patients and families on post-procedure care instructions, medication management, and symptom recognition to promote optimal recovery and wellness in the ambulatory care setting.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license

BLS (other certifications as required by facility)

2 years of recent Ambulatory Care Unit experience.

Strong communication and adaptability skills.
