EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty. Epic experience is required. Description : This position involves working in a medical-surgical / telemetry unit. The nurse will provide care for a diverse adult patient population. Patient diagnoses include, but are not limited to, respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative care, and psychiatric observation. Candidates must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and utilize rapid response teams. The position requires float to various units as needed. Shifts are scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, working nights. RNs will manage peripheral line care and oxygen administration, among other nursing responsibilities. Isolation precautions and routine vital sign assessments are part of the care process. The nurse will work with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in patient assessment and management. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced and demanding environment. All staff must adhere to compliance requirements and hospital policies.
