GROUNDSKEEPER SUPERVISOR / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Rancho Cucamonga CA

About your new Career :

Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Groundskeeper Supervisor / Maintenance Technician for Homecoming at The Resort a beautiful and large community in Rancho Cucamonga CA. In your role you will assist in the supervision of groundskeeper staff and operations while providing solid skills in all aspects of general residential maintenance.

Some of your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
  • Experience in carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing painting and appliance (dishwashers stoves etc.) installation and repair
  • Making ready units for new occupancy
  • Interaction with community manager and staff
  • Maintaining units of current residents
  • Coordinating work with outside vendors
  • Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
  • Supervising a team of community Groundskeepers / Porters
  • Requires reliable transportation and valid drivers licens e.

Note : These responsibilities are a general summary of the job duties performed. Other duties may be required as needed.

Other requirements include :

  • Moving and transporting heavy objects as needed
  • Bending / stooping / walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
  • Ascend / descend stairs and ladders as required.
  • Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking / reading / writing English.

    • To be successful your background should include :

  • Prior apartment maintenance experience with some staff supervision background.
  • Strong all-around residential maintenance skills in the apartment / residential industry
  • Experience in carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing painting and appliance (dishwashers washers stoves etc.) installation and repair

    • ADDITIONAL INFO :

    Days off for this position are Friday and Saturday.

    SALARY & BENEFITS :

    In addition to a competitive hourly wage ( $26.00- $28.00 / hour DOE) Lewis Groundskeeper Supervisor / Maintenance Technician earn :
