Department / Unit Summary

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Spring View Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This is a 7-bed unit that ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support.

How you’ll contribute

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Address Health educational needs for patients, families and other healthcare providers.
• Manage patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations.
• Act in a clinical leadership role.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
• Ability to float to MedSurg unit as needed.
• Perform other related duties.
