APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Jeffersonville, IN looking to add a Process Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to make sure all process parameters and settings are implemented in line with the process setup sheets. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like :

Prioritize safety by ensuring all safety features, including drop bars and safety switches, are fully functional.

Maximize uptime across all machine centers with a focus on minimizing and eliminating downtime.

Set up molds, initiate the startup process, and troubleshoot injection molding operations.

Document all process parameters on Master Setup Sheets for accurate record-keeping.

Ensure process parameters and mold protection settings comply with established specifications.

Address Quality and Operator concerns regarding parts and processes promptly.

Continuously work to enhance manufacturing efficiencies.

Lead efforts to reduce scrap by resolving mold issues through corrective actions and mold maintenance reports.

Identify and address maintenance issues, providing assistance as necessary.

Contribute to mold change activities to reduce downtime, boost uptime, and increase throughput.

Support the training and development of Process Technicians and Operators as needed.

What we are looking for :

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in injection molding processing is preferred.

Experience and proficiency in mold setting are required.

A solid understanding of resin is necessary.

Familiarity with 3-axis programming is a plus.
