Registered Nurse Inpatient Acute Care 20WT

We are searching for a Registered Nurse for our General Med / Surg unit (20WT)– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. 20WT is a 34 bed med / surg unit that sees kidney, liver transplant, renal and GI patients.

Shift : Full Time Nights 7p-7a

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or an associate's degree, technical diploma, or current enrollment in a nursing bridge program is required
• Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification with American Heart Association are required
• 9 months of professional nursing experience
• The ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate good time and resource management skills
• Demonstrate flexibility
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
• Operate unit specific equipment
• Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration
